Here’s Scoble ratting out on Ballmer. This time it’s about Ballmer’s lack of understanding of social networks. Microsoft’s CEO seems like he’s from a different company to the one that could produce something as cool as Microsoft Surface.

I used to think that Surface was cool. It still is sort of, but it’s very Microsoft-y, by which I think I mean it’s a huge monolithic solution to a bunch of simple problems that already have good solutions.
Which may also go some of the way to explaining Balmer’s lack of understanding of Social Network Services.
